The Department of Ophthalmology at Scudder Memorial Hospital has a well-equipped Outpatient Department (OPD) which was established in 1988, with the latest equipment. In addition to our clinics and camps, we have a deep interest in serving the rural community in and around Ranipet, Tamil Nadu. Our hospital offers services to around 50 villages by means of our 6 community centres and various camps and performs several cataract surgeries
