Fire Safety Demonstration at Scudder Memorial Hospital
On January 30, 2025, Scudder Memorial Hospital, Ranipet, conducted a Fire Safety Demonstration in collaboration with the Ranipet Fire and Emergency Rescue Services. Eighty staff members and students attended the session, which provided valuable insights into fire prevention and emergency response.
Key topics covered included the impact of fire, different types of fire hazards, and the appropriate extinguishers for each type. The team also demonstrated how to safely smother oil fires, use fire extinguishers effectively with the PASS technique, and apply various rescue techniques. A live demonstration of the fire truck’s deluge gun highlighted its role in tackling large-scale fires.
