Dr. Rachel George Chandy, a distinguished former Senior Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at
Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, Tamil Nadu, is widely admired for her unwavering commitment to patient care and her
exceptional contributions to medical science.

Dr. Rachel completed her MBBS in Burdwan, West Bengal, and earned a Diploma and Master’s degree in Obstetrics and
Gynecology, laying a strong foundation for her remarkable career.
She began her professional journey at Christian Fellowship Hospital in Koduvalanji and gained valuable international experience
in Australia before joining CMC Vellore in 1998

Known for her compassionate and holistic approach, Dr. Rachel cared deeply for her patients, addressing not just their physical
