World ORS week (25 Jul – 31 July) was celebrated at SMH on 29th July at Paediatric OPD.
The theme for this year was ORS -BLESSING FOR LIFE . It started with a word of prayer.Dr.Priyanka consultant paediatrics shared the greetings.
The students of CON/SON performed a skit based on the importance of ORS.
Parents were explained about the benefits of ORS during during diarrhea illness and how to recognise danger signs of dehydration.
Posters about diarrhea and ORS were exhibited. The staff demonstrated the preparation of ORS to the audience.
The programme ended with vote of thanks by Dr.Priyalatha followed by Prayer by Chaplin
