World Breast Feeding Week – 2024

World breast feeding week (1 Aug- 7Aug) was celebrated at SMH on 6th Aug at Paediatric OPD .
The theme for this year was CLOSING THE GAP the event started with Prayer by our Nursing Superintendent Mrs. Suganthi Benjamin followed by greetings by our Medical Superintendent Dr. Anbu Sureshrao.
Special address was given by the chief guest of the day Dr. Jacob Chacko and Health Education by Dr.Priyalatha .

Mother’s of babies who were exclusively Breastfeed for 6 months were appreciated and given prizes. Poster , slogan competitions and quiz were conducted for students and staff’s. The program came to an end with vote of thanks from Dr.Priyanka followed by Prayer and benediction from the Chaplin.
