“On September 11, 2024, the Physiotherapy Department at Scudder Memorial Hospital celebrated World Physiotherapy Day 2024 with a theme focused on low back pain. The event aimed to raise awareness among patients about the causes and consequences of low back pain through an engaging skit.
Mrs. J. Jeslin, Head of Physiotherapy, led an informative session on preventive measures and precautions for low back pain. The celebration was graced by esteemed guests, including Dr. Anbu Suresh Rao, our Medical Superintendent, Dr. Prashanth, a PMR Doctor from CMC Vellore, and doctors from the Orthopedic Department. Staff and students from Scudder Memorial Hospital also actively participated in the event, making it a resounding success.”
