Scudder Memorial Hospital has a well-established Psychiatry Unit, that is part of the Department of Medicine. We have been providing high quality, affordable, accessible, and equitable services to people from all sections of the community for over a decade. We have a team of eminent psychiatrists who are collaboratively involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of mental health problems. We offer emergency management, outpatient, and liaison psychiatry along with therapies for adults, the elderly, children, and families suffering from a range of mental health problems. Moreover, we help clients survive adversities and accompany them on their journey of realizing their potential of being positive contributing members to society. Services Include
Assessment, Diagnosis and Treatment of a variety of conditions ranging from the more common stress and lifestyle related problems that cause suffering and dysfunction to the more complex conditions, such as Schizophrenia and Bipolar disorder.

We also offer specialist services for people substance misuse, psychosexual problems, medico-legal cases, and others.
